I was referring to whether they are reliable with the camera software or if they could create any kind of error,
since I realize they interact with the raw data.

 

no dude, they dont interact with raw data. Its named log file but actually it is a picture profile and only effects if u shoot JPEG or video. Its emulating log file look.
There is no risk of installing it. Canon offers picture profile feature for a very long time. Its like an embedded preset on your camera. U can install up to 3 and choose from them. I use them with no problem and i created my own presets for video and jpeg shooting. It saves me time since it can reduce redness in skin tones and give me more pleasant blue tones.You can create any type of look just like lightroom presets.

Could you please convert the Capture One profile for the 5DIV? I have both LR and C1 but I am desperately looking for better color in Lightroom. I can also try myself if I know how to.

 

Are you able to convert Canon R5 profile from C1 to LR? Much appreciated

 

@Marc @Vanjagnic upload one or two raw files from your camera and send me via DM. Doesnt matter what it is just well exposed shots i need for reference.

 

I have sent you a dm with the download link to the R5 raw.
