    Hi!

Can you or someone explain a little what is this tool about?

I'm on Affinity Photo and use the tool gradient map in to correct the shift on hue, saturation or luminosity after using dodge and burn technique by curve or linear light grey layer.
Is this tool more accurate or faster to use? Is this something unique or already known by the community in general?

    Thank you

When you use the "GOLD" tags do not also use the "HIDE" tags.
I have edited it for you.

Can someone make these "old" actions accessible to all?

Sorry Stevestone but the video you refer too is hopeless. The video is not a tutorial but a "chat" or a commercial. You get nothing from the video but trivialities: I work at 100 % Opacity and 2 % Flow and the pressure of the brush, I work at 50, max 100 % zoom.....bla, bla, bla...
They hide all the layers and the adjustments!

If you have another video or document, I can look into it.

Ok. Here is a summary of the video.
In Photoshop, luminosity and saturation are linked. When you dodge or burn, you do not just lighten or darken pixels but you change the saturation of the pixels as well. Apruzzese tries to get luminosity and saturation separate from each one.
The actions do not change the workflow of dodging and burning. You paint a black mask with a white brush. The only difference with other techniques is the settings he developed for avoiding saturation shifts when dodging and burning.
Saturation+ and saturation- are ways of saturating and de-saturating without affecting the luminosity.
Luminosity+ and luminosity- are ways of lighten and darken without affecting the saturation.
    That´s it!
NB. They don´t show you how to use the actions, for example when and how to fine-tune the settings of the actions ... etc

I don´t know about Marcin Mikus but almost everybody today dodge and burn using curves and try to correct the saturation issue with some adjustment layer when necessary.
