What are the various methods that people are using to DL Vimeo videos embedded within a frame on any particular website? I'm primarily using Firefox and am familiar with pausing the video; Inspect frame; opening the script; copying the content and pasting into note (or word doc); Isolating the .MP4 for preferred quality; then copy/paste that link - and DL accordingly . . .

    But what are other methods?

That's a lot of work, there should be some extension for firefox, I don't know your OS but if you're on mac there are several apps, downie, pulltube, video duke, 4k video downloader (I think there's a windows version of this one).

If you want I can download it for you.

Thanks for the info. There's no particular video that's needed - just wondering whats available and relative ease of use. I can use Mac and/or Win - but for ripping use Win at present . . .

I've used FreeRapid in the past.
I'm sure you'd be able to get it online 'n test it...

I use also youtube-dl, it works from the command line, and you can download from hundreds of websites,
of course it takes some practice.

Here is the link to download it: http://ytdl-org.github.io/youtube-dl/

Thanks for the replies! These are all pretty straight-forward DL'ers and does save significant steps. I edited my original question to address those videos within frames for XY website and don't allow direct DL. That's where I have to view source html and extract referred link manually. The above pointers definitely saves 1 or more steps and thanks for that . . . but I've yet to come across any easier solution to acquiring the video within the frame in an automatic manner.
