Tips to get your request fulfilled faster: When you make a request use the search function to see if it isn't requested already; If it is already requested, post in that thread to say that you are also interested. This way you help to bump the request to the top and you also express interest (more people = priority); If it isn't already requested, make a new request, and post as much information as you can (link to the website, photos, description, etc.); Wait to see if your request is of interest to other people also. If not, you can bump your request to the top, by replying to your own thread. But do not over do it. So do not bump it more than once per day or it will be considered as spam. Request materials that will also be of interest to other people.
Only Gold members can make new requests/GB https://p-v.club/threads/only-gold-members-can-make-new-requests-gbs.29789/
Thank you for the info. This rule is so ridiculous: to become a gold member just to post a request! That could never be fulfilled...
"Thank you for the info. This rule is so ridiculous: to become a gold member just to post a request! That could never be fulfilled" Not always so true. And if you really think about it, it's a good rule. The forum was getting SO many posts from newbies requesting everything under the sun, it was crazy.
I still think it would be beneficial to differentiate a request for "interest" and proposed GB; additional choices to the present limit of: - Request - Done - Soon choices. It would assist in streamlining interest and serve to sort these items. Lastly, there should be some identifiable reference (perhaps ONLY for Gold members to reference [maybe a listing] indicating where in the cue items sit; some auto-hierarchy or something that's dynamic based on interested responses, etc.
Semi agree. I don't always want to have a gold membership but that also takes away my ability to request. That being said, I haven't even been a part of this forum for a year and I think my status level is pretty decent, showing I'm here to give. Status level, rather than gold, would seem a bit more fair.
I agree - that IS a fair consideration to take into account; I never really thought about it from that side . . . status should also be a factor as well (Afterall, any peep can get Gold to simply hit-and-run; clean house, and leak to another site). Therefore, Gold alone does NOT define a particular standard . . .
Hi, i found an interesting tutorial but is not gold, i was thinking if any possibility a gold member would request it instead can send a pm and i will show what tutorial it is
As a matter of principal, it seems antithetical to pay to steal content, but if you're going to do it, do it or don't. When I see "Gold" content and now see that I can't even make a request, it doesn't make me want to be a Gold member, it just pisses me off.
To be fair, when I see a new member making a request, without ever having had shared first, that pisses me off. Don't be here just to take.
And that is a fair point. I've intended to share, but only recently found a comment regarding upload sites. Some of us, being new to this sort of thing, don't know how to do these things. Since you have a sense of humor and I now see lkngood likes to pray (or is that prey?) I'll post some stuff, assuming I don't have to pay for the privilege.
Okay, I posted something, but it was not at all intuitive how to do that. If it works (still being reviewed), I'll post more and then can I complain about not being able to make a request!? ;-)
Shrug, I was new as well. I asked questions, I looked up what I needed. Strange that I didn't have so many issues that it prevented me from sharing. I've only been a member 8 months longer than you and look at my rank. It still comes down to this: don't come here to complain if you haven't even offered anything to the group I'm not doing the back and forth arguing thing from here. I made my point well enough
oooooooooo ya (Patto) post one thing and feel you have the "right and privilege" of making requests?? You make a great argument for limiting the number of new members--i mean a REAL limit. Nuff said from me as well.
