I really appreciate the work and effort that you put into this. But I can't seem to get it to work. It's not showing up in resolve in the OFX library. Here's what I did:

    1. With Resolve closed, I ran the arm version of the installer.
    2. Then ran the arm terminal code in Terminal.
    3. I double checked that it was in the /library/OFX/plugins folder just to make sure.
    4. Checked in "memory and GPU" that "auto" was unchecked and Metal was selected.
The error says "failed to load".

That sounds like the same behavior we've seen with the M1 processor, there are several users who can't make it work after applying the code, davinci not opening, crashes, plugin not showing, code signature, you name it.

I was hoping this new version to be different but looks like it's going down the same route and I'm sorry for that.

It is with the M1 processor. I swapped from my Hackintosh (8700K + Vega 64) to a MacBook Air M1 a few days ago. I hope whatever it is, it's temporary and I can just switch over to Final Cut for the time being.

Interestingly, I can use Resolve, with seemingly little issue if those plugins aren't installed or active.

@vxdragin Yeah, exactly that, the M1 processor is very new and along with Big Sur, there's the combo of death.

If you can give it a try on the hackintosh, although isn't officially supported they themselves recommend so.

One more thing, do you know filmbox?
They have a free lite version, of course it's very limited with just one stock, just rec709 output and all but there's no time limit and no watermark, I've been testing it and like it.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll definitely look into that. One of the things I find kind of interesting is that when you search "filmbox" online, there are a lot of different products with that name. For now I guess what I'm going to do is:

Use CineMatch with Resolve to "transform" the ZV-1 HLG into A7SIII S-Log2.Cine3 and export that that as a LUT. Use that as an input in Final Cut and use the Arri LUTs to grade the clip. From what I can tell, it looks the same in Resolve and Final Cut. So I guess that's a success. Final Cut runs a lot smoother on my MacBook so I think I'll stick with this workflow for now. None of this is for work or serious projects. Just amateur fun. That's why it's not a huge deal to me in the end.

Same here, my main tool is fcp, resolve is just for grading.

    Filmbox is here.

So I managed to get it to work by throwing EVERYTHING at it. What I did was a reinstall of Resolve. Then installed both versions (Arm and x86) of Dehancer 4 and Dehancer 3.4.1. Ran the two terminal commands in each file (that's 4 total). Chose (run in Rosetta) for Resolve and when opened it...it crashed. A few times but I think that was on me because I had other issues going on. After a few restarts, it seems to be working with no problems. I also went into preferences > Memory and GPU > GPU Processing mode (auto) | GPU selection (auto). Restart again and it seems to be running well.
