Classic K14\Classic K14 LR7.3 and above\CameraRAW\Settings

Can someone convert .lrtemplate in folder Classic K14\Classic K14 - for older LR versions\Lightroom\Develop Presets to .XMP format?

Just put .lrtemplates in your "Develop Presets" folder and run LR. It eill automaticcaly convert old templates to new format.

 

Yeap but I just reverted back to old version (7.2)

 

I've found this tip, but i didn't try it, so good luck:

Right mouse click USER PRESETS in lightroom, click IMPORT.
Import your old *.LRTEMPLATE files, and it will convert them to *.xmp

 

Thanks for that but that's just the other way to import, the files aren't converting

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the old version and the new xmp versions?

 

@salleno There should not be any. It's just that the old *.lrtemplate files are no longer supported and have been uniformed to *.xmp which makes them interchangable with Camera Raw now.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply.

EDIT: Is it just me, or do the K-14 presets in xmp erase the previous setting? Example... I select K-14 Old, then white balance 1, which then clears the K-14 Old setting.

 

Anyone else having this issue?
