Earlier in the year I had purchased an M1 Mac mini but returned it when I heard that the M1X was coming. And now that it's here, although a different couple of names, I'm ready to fully embrace the Apple ecosystem.

I'm looking for any and all resources. I'm primarily a Davinci Resolve user but want to learn Final Cut and possibly just colorgrade in Resolve although I am considering the Color Finale and Cinema Grade plugins for Final Cut. I'm also interested in learning Motion as an entryway into motion graphics now that I'll soon have a system capable of handling it.

    Thanks in advance!

M1 Mac Mini its a perfectly capable machine. If you don’t need a laptop, no reason for M1 Pro. Final cut Pro works smooth as butter with M1.
DR also smash everything with new render engine. I can’t simply work on a machine with only 16 inch display.
I recommend White in Revery which is well structured course, if you are a wedding videographer.

    Thank you for the recommendation.

I got the new laptop because I wanted to work without having to be confined to one spot.

For Final Cut training Larry Jordan is the best, very deep and extensive explanations, another one is Ripple Training, they have courses for FCP, Motion and Resolve.

Cinema grade is a bit amateur for my taste, color finale is much better and robust, for something quick and easy inside fcp go with color finale, for something really important go with resolve.
