has anyone successfully updated to this latest version?

 

Working perfectly fine - just double click the included ccx files to have Adobe CC install the extensions automatically. Former versions will be replaced by this latest update.

 

ok, thanks, it's just me then, since I install mine manually, creative cloud won't let me install anything

 

To manually install newer UXP extensions for Photoshop v23, just extract the .ccx file (which is actually a .zip file) and put the resulting folder in (~)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/Plugins/External/

You might need to create the "Plugins" and "External" folders if they don't exist yet.

 

If your using a pirated version of Photoshop that doesn't include Adobe CC (Creative Cloud), then simply change the .ccx extension to .zip to extract the contents.

I have a problem, when i close and reopen photoshop, the panels are gone.
I can't see them anymore in the plugin module in PS
I have a new folder in UXP/PluginsInfo and I think this is where the problem come from.
Any idea to solve this problem

Are you using a Mac or Windows? The path meatsoup offers is for a Mac. I believe for Windows you would simply copy the unarchived folder into the following path:

Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop 2023 > Plug-ins

Upon re-open Photoshop you should find the TK8 folder under the Panels heading.

The problem comes from this folder "PluginsInfo" wich is automaticaly generated each time I open PS.
When I delete it, the panels are in PS.
Then I close PS and reopen
The folder "PluginsInfo" is generated and panels are gone from PS
Will have to go back to TK7

I tried that and, although the folders in question show up in the Plugins menu, selecting any of them only gives me a blank panel with a "There is a problem. Contact Tony Kuyper." message. Windows 10, Photoshop 23.2.1

Hey, all. I got the same problems as the guys mentioned above. How to solve this problem ?

 

you can use an older version of TK8, I think this issue pops up only with 1.2.3 and 1.2.2 or you can log in into creative cloud and install it and then log out of creative cloud.

 

with the latest creative cloud update, to use TK8, one must be signed in into creative cloud at all times, if you sign out of creative cloud panel is removed from photoshop menu and it reappears on the next creative cloud log in.
