Do you guys backup your photos and videos on the cloud? If so, which service do you use and why?

I've been looking at trying out Google G Suite which offers unlimited storage for US$10 per month (it actually says 1TB per user if less than 5 users but apparently they don't enforce that rule and there are guys on Reddit who have many TB's on a 1 user G Suite account).

I have been using smugmug for years under the power plan with unlimited photos and videos. It used to be $60 a year but smugmug has since raised it to $71.88 a year.

What about Flickr? For a while they were giving 1TB away for free.

I want to be able to upload various files. Not just photos & videos. So Smugmug & Flickr won't work. I'll check out Backblaze...

I just have to caution if you use backblaze make sure your isp does not have a bandwidth cap, I'm sure you thought of that but with the size bill my friend received wanted to empathize. Also you might need to go into backblaze config to make sure it's backing up things like .iso as I believe it does not do by default

Short term backup goes directly into a Dropbox account. Once files are delivered to clients, they get archived to a Drobo. Standard method of delivery to clients is via Zenfolio, and that's unlimited space for something like $250 a year.

Google Drive for business with Stream Drive and unlimited space is a best option for me

The trick with Backblaze is not to use Backblaze - but rather use their their B2 Cloud Storage product with a good native client like ARQ. You then have complete control and you don't have to worry about files getting deleted automatically if you unplug an external or anything like that.

And use local backup to a NAS.

And copy to an external drive and keep it offsite.

    3-2-1.

NAS + Amazon photo + BlackBlaze + External HDD (stored in a different geographic location) for images.

Do you have 5 users or are you just using 1 account?
