@Nikon4life use to post the best books I've seen in this forum! He/She has a really good taste.

 

Honestly - most material can be obtained (specific to general books / magazines) through other sites - I had much material going back to Demonoid days (it was a great sharing site) and even some from Usenet Groups (talk about slooooooow) and personal self-bought material. When I joined here most of the book material was being posted by the handful of the now-present [and some no longer present] Moderators - so thanks should aptly go to them.

Once one has locked down on the fundamental technical basics of camera (or video) use - the REAL magic happens with the connection you're hopefully able to make with the client / subject. So probably some degree of psychology is worth one's effort as well as gentle guidance with attention to detail (it really is all about the details) - which makes a shoot go from mediocre to stellar. And once ya got the shot, you'll know it - - - then everything thereafter is just for fun . . .

I would ideally love to see classic monographs by most of the greats presented as PDFs or ePUBs. I was thinking about doing this with certain titles using a 60mm lens for reproduction and .jpeg capture with optimized lighting. Then collate and assemble in Acrobat. Maybe one title per month or so . . . versus scanning.

But back on point:
"Z Library" is considered a traditional site for College-level textbooks (and I'm sure there are a few others) - but I'm not sure if the US sort of bans them because of copyright considerations. Other countries have access to the site. Use a VPN and Tor browser for access; establish an account and even donate to the site - it's worth the price of admission compared to the cost of a single textbook (crazy expensive).

However - I still know peeps that want or NEED the book - luv the tactile "feel" of the heft-in-the-hand(s) - I'm one of 'em

oh I know what you mean, the top 3 that I am looking for are insane in price and I have no problem to donate to have access but honestly do not know the sites anymore, used to in the good old days lol that is why thought to try my luck here as so many here knows and have access to great recourses so trying my luck with hopes that I can avoid spending a fortune of few pdfs
