Most LUT's are shitty... Have not tried them yet, but depends what profile you are using and whether it is LOG or REC709 Put the Color correction above that LUT usually help a lot.. But also depends what Video App you are using...
im using premire pro and i do apply on adjustment layer but it looks grungy and grainy kinda.. loved the color but the extra shitty effect i dont like. CAN U please share any similar luts kinda Vintage , kodak 2383, fuji kinda luts. Thank you
Why not un click the grain on your grain filter, No LUT can add grain, it only sets and adjustment through your App. So check your grain filter in your app and turn it down or off... Again, a LUT cannot add grain by itself...
Bad LUTs that are not stress-tested by its own creator will result in weird color artifacts appearing on your footage. I often have bad experiences when using LUTs that are claimed to be "working for all rec.709 and LOG".
@imteee Just Tried them, they are messed up, you are correct @BAiLiN your share is BAD... Please fix them or you should erase this post... They are corrupted or something is WRONG with them 100% The XMP's for Photoshop seem "Ok" But the LUT's are messed up no doubt... Please check where you got them from and report back.. I doubt you paid for them but ask where you got them and comment that the LUT's are NO good..
I am a professional and tried them on SLOG and 709 they are BAD... a Pixelated Aliasing Mess. Absolutely un-usable or CORRUPTED
I found that on internet and i have not tested on videos only photos, but i noticed that are .cube files, so i put them on description. If you enter on moonbear website they say only Adobe Lightroom.
OK, Yes some Bozo tried to make LUT's off the XMP presets it looks like, but did a really shitty job... But you are right, it does not say anything about LUT's If I get a chance I will maybe try to make LUT's out of the presets, if they look OK, I will try to post them here if anybody is interested... But there are too many good LUT's around I imagine it will be nothing special...
