Downloads behind paywalls

sure, but isn't the point here to share and not have to pay for it? It seems like your shares are just limiting to those who ARE wanting to pay. So not only is it gold BUT the downloads aren't available to those who will not pay.

 

There are some downloads being uploaded to sites that require a membership to download, otherwise downloads are limited to once per hour or other extensive time periods.

As this group is based on sharing material, without fee, I feel that material uploaded on such sites is going against the point of the group. Regardless of the cost of the website's membership, material here is meant to be free, period. "Only $5 a year" or whatever number, it is still requiring payment to obtain the files. Unless I am missing somewhere in pv's terms/rules that content CAN be uploaded on sites which may require payment?

I have a bunch of shares on here, all freely accessible for anyone to download without opening their wallet at all - which I thought was the point. Anyone else feel that content should only be uploaded to websites in which we can obtain the downloads free of charge and within a reasonable download time?

 

Please provide some example posts of this.

Either pay for a membership or you must wait 60 minutes between each file downloaded.

 

Get a VPN, if you are trying to download big shares you need a VPN hands down...

 

I do have one. It just requires constant disconnect and reconnects to bypass wait times. Still, I wasn't able to download beyond 2 files - even switching connections. I give up.

 

In order to best optimize your time on this site / forum: you'd benefit [time-wise] in obtaining a VPN as others indicate. Your issue with 1fichier "may" be related to the browser you're using. For example - I've had times where on Windows (PC) using Firefox - it's hit and miss. But switching over to Chrome results with no issues.

Outside of VPN fee (but there are free options - but I've not used them), standard ISP fee, and cost of running my computer - - - I've not paid any additional cost(s) using this forum [Group Buy participation excluded].

if you are talking about the leaks.. that is a thing that we cant do anything, because everything we post here is for everyone and there are people here that download it to sell in those websites.

We know some of these websites, but we dont know who are those people.

I got that part - my response was not only directed to you; but others as well who may be reading this thread and having similar issues as you. Not knowing where you're located relative to the location of the server you're trying to get the file from; and not knowing which OS as well as browser and as well as VPN service (paid or free) - the message gist was to try a different browser for anyone with similar [potential] issues . . .
