I don't think any of their products are going to work bc it is a subscription base plugin.. Monthly, yearly or perpetual which is the most expensive.. Doubt many here will want to do a group buy. Specially when the license is not sure how it works with more than 1 computer installation...
I am looking for a perpetual formula… I know it’s expensive but I already have Filmbox perpetual (split between 3) and works WO any issues…

I was offered by someone an option to buy film box for 50.00 but they have to enter into my computer or something to make it work with my IP address or something like that and decided not to deal with it at the moment.. But might try it some day, sounds like a good deal even though no future updates... How does the perpetual work with 3 people? Is that license for 3 computers I imagine? Still too expensive splitting 4.000.00 US$ between 3 people in my opinion... Thanks for the info
They did install a virus with it for me, being a nerd I found it after like 30 mins, removed it, everything videovillage works perfectly. It's always good to install a firewall in case. It was faking as windows driver installer, hiding under windows folder, same name as windows driver installer if your trying. It didn't do a thing, it's password miner, mining brute forcing other people's gmail.
The guy who did installation for me didn't know how to work with windows or resolve well, I was assisting all the time. I think it works like this, a pirated software seller brought semi-cracked copy of product from a cracker and sell it to his customers. The problem being the cracker at the first place inserted a backdoor virus with the package and the seller is unknowingly distributing it. Its worth the risk if you dont have 1500$ for scatter and filmbox.
Awesome, Thanks for the Information.. I have Mac and am not as tech as you apparently and would not even know if there was a virus installed. I imagine you had it installed by the same "source" I was offered.. I think they charge 50.00 for the plugin, film box at least, I did not ask about scatter. My other problem is that I use a VPN and change my IP everyday and not sure if that would effect the cracked plugin they would install or not.. Thanks for the heads up and information, If I try it some day I might write you a private message so maybe you can help me out with discovering that virus or how to maybe illuminate it... I think Virus are much easier do deal with on the Mac end, I am a Mac user for over 25 years and never had a virus of any kind... Thanks @m0rpheus
Well now to get back on topic about a group buy, I do not know if they allow that here bc like you mention the license is for 3 people only and group buys here are usually for a lot more than that but it would have to be a group buy for just 3 people which means 500.00 each person which is still really ridiculous price in my opinion... Kind of like a group buy for Motion VFX plugins, I can get them for FCPX really cheap, I can get 5 plugins for around 37.00US$ and asked George if it was possible to do a group buy but he never answered.. So I imagine they do not allow it or he never saw my question. Considering each Motion VFX plug in cost around 80-90.00$ it is a great deal 37.00 for 5 plugins or 15.00$ for single plugins would be great for everyone here..
I really want to try their product in full value but man even with the GB I still have to pay 300$ (which equals almost an average monthly salary in my country). I just hope maybe there would be a slight change in their pricing in near future...
their Full HD version is free if you want to try and I agree, even 300.00 is ridiculous in my opinion. Your other option is to try the "hacker" way and I think they charge like 50.00 US$ ? Maybe @m0rpheus pheus can verify how much he ended up paying?
I goofed around the trial version and totally love it, but I don't think I would ever pay that much for a single plugin which I don't even own 100%
We’re talking about 500USD splitting between 3 seats. I’m sure this doesn’t count as a GB but maybe we could grab 2 more interested on doing a “pseudo” gb. This is the process I was offered with Filmbox.
