Commissioned by NU Muses founder Steve Shaw to shoot a fine art calendar of nude photographs to debut at Art Basel in Miami, Bellemere's unique methods and visual style are examined.

This documentary follows David Bellemere, a professional photographer known for his daring photography. He only photographs attractive but shy young women. However, David's mission becomes more challenging as his knowledge and resources are heavily taxed. Throughout this film, the viewer gets a look at modeling and photography with appeal, expectations and imagination. The film also explores the personal dilemmas and results of decisions made by the photographers and models.


Clash of artistic views vs business needs over nudity
This movie could have been simply an experience of wallowing in female nudity. But the moderately revealing scenes are woven into an engaging plot following an expensive nude photography project jeopardized by clashing esthetic and business views. The the photographer's search for adoration and the models search for expression collides with the constraints imposed by the project business lead, resulting in contentions over the borderlines between beauty and obscenity, expressiveness and provocation, safe business choices and daring artistic choices. The clash culminates at the art display where the project final result is revealed and all participants speak their mind with little reservations.

Thank you @Nikon4life ! For your reference or anyone who is interested, I handbraked it down to 780mb, used MetaZ to add metadata, and iSubtitle and its search to add English subtitles. Came out in a nice m4v with more than adequate quality for my aging eyes and best of all, subs to ease understanding of audio (and of course sizable 700+MB savings which are huge for anyone who worked with floppy disk sizes measured in KB or an HDD with a 20MB capacity).

 

So why not share what you have done by uploading your file to either workupload.com or krakenfiles.com? Just out of curiosity, long long did it take for handbrake to accomplished this?
