Done Elevate Your Art: Painting Portraits Education by Michelle Parsley

Hmm.. It would appear her teachings rely solely on use of the wacom art pen which has been discontinued. I am deeply saddened as I don't own the art pen and used ones online have skyrocketed in price. https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us/...ng-the-Wacom-Art-Pen-will-DESTROY-Livelihoods

Quick question, is this still going to be posted here? As curiousdude said this has been on "soon" stage for a long time.

Interesting - never heard of this - BUT makes 100% sense for the [digital] painting process - I'm in the tail-end of finishing up a [real] painting project and the ability to rotate the brush is SO critically important for cutting and detail-oriented elements . . . will have to read this at some point . . .

I did a little reading on this and there was/is significant backlash from the original discontinuation [of the art pen] - another example of the right-hand not knowing what the left (or vice-versa) is doing - alas - they've now made a newer one but with the caveat it will only function with the present model of surfaces (but supposedly more retro-adoptions are planned . . . ).

And these older pens are expensive for used - but deals can be found if opting for seeking out old tablets maybe being sold with the art pen . . .
