Please do not use workupload anymore for your file uploads as the files get deleted after 30 days. You can use the better alternatives: Zeroupload.com (Make sure to register for a free account. Files are kept for 75 days.) 1fichier.com (Files are removed after 15 days for guests, 30 days for registered users. Files of premium users are not subject to this rule.) Google drive pixeldrain.com (Make sure to register for a free account. Files are kept for 120 days.)
If anyone is paying for storage on G-Drive (like me) You can use up to 5 emails to share in the storage. So basically you're getting minimum 10 TB. Just wanted to share that little tidbit in case someone didn't know.
I use Zeroupload storage, for free is unlimited storage I upload to 209Gb no problem, no deleting files.
Hope this thread is o-kay to try a test of the info above: I'm going to share a test file amongst the various share-hosting sites as noted above (and offer some of my own notes too) - Day #8 will be 26th January - Day #16 will be 3rd February - Day #31 will be 11th February - . . . at which time almost all links should be vacant (??) [exception being Mega] - "we're gonna test that" . . . All links remain UP as of 1/31/25 All links remain UP as of 2/8/25 All Links remain UP as of 2/12/2025 All Links [except WorkUpLoad Free] remain UP as of 3/1/2025 All Links [except WorkUpLoad Free] remain UP as of 4/3/2025 Workload (Registered) and Mega (Free) links remain active as of 6/4/2025 The file is free (if anyone is interested - and is actually a really good read; especially for us old farts of the ill-conceded mindset "I'm too old to learn anything at my age" Title of file is: Learn Like a Pro: Science-Based Tools to Become Better at Anything by Barbara Oakley Phd (Author) A book for learners of all ages containing the best and most updated advice on learning from neuroscience and cognitive psychology. Do you spend too much time learning with disappointing results? Do you find it difficult to remember what you read? Do you put off studying because it’s boring and you’re easily distracted? This book is for you. Dr. Barbara Oakley and Olav Schewe have both struggled in the past with their learning. But they have found techniques to help them master any material. Building on insights from neuroscience and cognitive psychology, they give you a crash course to improve your ability to learn, no matter what the subject is. Through their decades of writing, teaching, and research on learning, the authors have developed deep connections with experts from a vast array of disciplines. And it’s all honed with feedback from thousands of students who have themselves gone through the trenches of learning. Successful learners gradually add tools and techniques to their mental toolbox, and they think critically about their learning to determine when and how to best use their mental tools. That allows these learners to make the best use of their brains, whether those brains seem “naturally” geared toward learning or not. This book will teach you how you can do the same. ________________________________________________________ WorkUpLoad Free: [no longer working as of 3/1/2025] https://workupload.com/file/pd3y8h4TZe8 WorkUplLoad Registered Account: https://workupload.com/file/r6YXv3Cmw6m Mega Free: https://mega.nz/file/X1IEWLSQ#Jw4XopIIws8XjA5yx2dv3HtzjbrEfOsI_sFJ9VA3WWo iceyfile.com – Can’t connect using any browser (at present) - but was able to make a cute brick QR-Code ZeroUpLoad.com – free temp account – [max file size is 66.8MB and file is only a temp lasting 7 days; after which it’s removed] – therefore “we’re NOT gonna test that” ZeroUpLoad registered account: https://zeroupload.com/c25eb9feaae08a3a2042d16790022717 [ Down as of 6/4/2025 ] Google Drive: No need to share a link because the file will remain as long as one's account is active. As a side note - be sure to use an account not linked to your real identity - This was pointed out to me early on and in turn pointed out to others who had no idea that their ID is viewable for materiel they share . . . probably not really a big deal amongst us nekked folk swimming in this watering hole, but . . . ya get the idea . . . Although it's really funny to call out someone (discretely via DM, of course) who's been trolling ya ad hominem behind a supposed curtain of anonymity only to thereafter hear . . . crickets . . . filen.io: I'm not a paying member [must have a Pro account in order to share links - but really cheap in a relative sense] but have an account of 40GB (free - when they were offering accounts for new members; heard about it from this site). So it's o-kay for storing files [I guess] - but some peeps hate the site as a hosting service for use in this forum [For whatever reason - certain DLs don't play well with specific browsers - sometimes switching a browser remedies the issue - IDK why]. 1fichier.com: Free share - can't speak for their paid services (they are actually pretty reasonably cheap) - but this little file took longer than any to UL - as pointed out above - file removed after 7 15 days [free] and 15 30 days [registered] https://1fichier.com/?79es6jmu5h4a6bztnbk0 [ Down as of 6/4/2025 ] 1fichier.com - Registered: Well - I tried to create an account but can't "see" the code to enter - tried about 20 times and now locked out - I must be confirmationally-blind . . . too bad for me . . . Okay - was able to register - finally . . . https://1fichier.com/?kild9clh5j09v5oz41ee [ Down as of 6/4/2025 ] Please note there's a 2-hour waiting time between downloads if you're not a subscriber - this is a deal-breaker for many and I fail to see the benefit of this host over WorkUpLoad (noting the duration-of-host limitations) UNLE$$ both peeps hosting and downloading are active (i.e. paying) for their service. Therefore - for free users - without use of a VPN - this host is really no better than RapidGator, Filextras, Keep2Share, or any myriad of others with time-limit between DL-sites. {Am I incorrect about this? Please let me know . . . this is what I'm seeing here} Also - limits of duration for sites hosting a file - although frustrating - have provided opportunity for MANY to garner "likes" via providing a mirror - a few notably gaining Contributor status in record time as a consequence.
@Nikon4life the recommendation for 1fichier is made for the people that are looking for a cheap premium host(right now there is an offer for 55 euros/year) and an alternative to mega(as mega is removing your files on DMCA and then closing your account at 3 strikes). If you want to upload for free I think the best for the moment is zeroupload.
