    Is there any reason why when I apply these I get really heavy grain. Yet when I go into the grain setting to reduce it it's set at 0? I can't find a way to reduce it another way....

    Maybe the sharpening parameter in the preset got dialed up too much that the grain in the photo itself was more pronounced

    I don't think that's it. All the presets have zero sharpening applied.

    No idea. You must be opening a different file. This is only 556mb.
    I've downloaded and opened it numerous times. I'm sorry. I don't see an issue.
    When I get home I'll upload it a different way.
