What happened to notifying?

    I've been seeing some of my threads marked as dead or mirrored - without anyone first even commenting that the links aren't working. We all know how often take downs happen for some courses, and for as long as I've been here, OP is notified first.. Since when is this how things work?

    I've NEVER been notified of a down link by admin or moderators.
    Only time i know if someone marks the post as DEAD or a member remarks link is not working.

    I made no mention of admins. Members are typically considerate though and mention it prior to mirroring or having it marked dead.

    Some of these posts are abandoned by the op, and who knows when or if they'll ever be mirrored.
    You're obviously ticked off, but we're all here to help each other, and mirrors are a way to do so.
