Lmao why were you restricted?

 

Because I shared apparently the same app version as someone else who I was actually the first person to share the app years ago... Totally ridiculous bc the search function is Garbage here so you never know if something is shared already or not. Otherwise I would not have share it bc I don't care about trophy points anymore. The other stupid PV CLUB bug is when you get a "warning" they never give you a notice either in Messages nor mail so how the ehll are we supposed to know we have a waring abdominal after 3 we are restricted. @george @h1ghm1nd or WHOEVER the real moderators are here or whoever gave me the "warnings" and restricted me... Not even that is clear anywhere and neither @george nor @h1ghm1nd can seem to help out or even tell me the heck restricted me... Clown show here

And also how this product was not shared after 3 months (this was clearly a groupbuy) is kinda confusing to me.

So these luts are expecting Cineon log image or do they work on rec709?

I'm currently testing out these prints with the Log-to-Linny LUT (the older version that was shared here before) and it looks pretty good.

 

Because of the price, I thought it was supposed to be 6 months, which I think is over due anyway so I have no issue with the post above.

Can you check if there are any updates to this pack? I don't think there is but would be nice to know and if people want the CINNY luts If you have your receipt you/we can get a big discount on the Cinny LUTs and maybe do another group buy? I am pretty sure many would be interested

 

Because it was done in a request thread and never got the group buy tag if I remember correctly but it went through. A couple of members mention when would it be shared but nothing ever happened. It was kind of buried in another request for other Brim lut's apparently.

No problem, it was the right thing to do and not sure why the moderators didn't do it...? Yet they have time to restrict me for double posting an app that I start posting first years ago and some one copied me and started posting smaller updates of the app. @george @h1ghm1nd . And the worse part is neither of them know who even gave me the restricted status..

 

Not knowing who placed the restriction is somewhat odd - you should be able to appeal a decision at point of placement.

Historically - both in actuality and theory - one may piss-off a Moderator and then s/he becomes somewhat overzealous with handing out the "infractions." I state this from experience, unfortunately . . . funny thing is we eventually shared mutual respect for each other . . .

 

I don't think the mods were involved in the group buy were they? I believe it was salleno's responsibility, but it looks like he already acknowledged above that it accidentally fell through the cracks.

And if you don't know who restricted you, how do you know what you were restricted for? Wouldn't someone have had to tell you that information? I've not seen someone restricted for accidentally posting a duplicate (hell, I've accidentally posted a duplicate before), though that doesn't mean it can't happen, I suppose - I just mean that are you sure that was the reason? It does seem prudent for mods to be able to give some concrete information. If for no other reason than to make sure you know what to avoid in the future.
