Hi, how do you do the conversion? And excuse my ignorance, I convert them to Rec709-Cineon and it works fine, but the manual isn't very clear, and I don't have the Linny ones. Are they shared here too?

 

This whole pipeline is built for Arri (their Cineon Lut + Print Lut which is comes from the SPK ). Technically you can just use a basic Arri-to-Cineon CST down the node tree and pairing it with one of the print luts from SPK, this is when you want to build your own "film" colors which needs to happen before the cineon CST.

 

If a network is connected, could you use Network to Cineon directly? Or should it be switched from Network to Arri and Arri to Cineon with the gamma set to 709? Since Cineon doesn't have a specific gamma, the film sets it. I think there's a gap in these LUTs. Sorry to ask, but the manual is pretty vague about the tonal curves.thanks for your response

 

Everything should be fed into the Arri-Cineon sandwich so you need to properly input the right camera profile to transform to Arri first. Yeah I do agree that the manual has very little information to help the user.
