Oh I knew nothing about it til now

 

Well none of us did, until someone mentioned to me and I just tried the older version 1.2 and it says EXPIRED and no longer works. After reading through the filmverse web site and conditions of purchase, it clearly states this. They will expire with in 9-12 months.
So the version 2.1 bought and shared here WILL expire with in the next 6-8 months or so I am guessing.
It could possibly expire in 2025 which is less than a month or so. Depends when it was purchased and what expire algorithm they installed in that version.
Even worse is, it most likely will happen with any of their DTCL's.

 

Wasn't this a group buy and or the Version 2.1 has now expired as well. We need to get the updated file please which will give is another 9-12 months of use. @h1ghm1nd ?

 

The plugin is renewed via their server - FilmverseSync app. How to do this for everyone? Whoever buys should do so through their applications and it should work. Am I thinking right?

 

Not 100% sure for the Version 2.1 but I imagine the DTCL can be shared. V3.0 and Arsenal is through FIlmSync only from what I understand and cannot be shared apparently.

 

Okay, so what do we do? Because this plugin is really good.

Who ever bought should get an update DCTL and not necessarily that works only with the FIlmSync app. I thought this was a group buy some here so the moderator should be able to get the updated file which would give us another 9-12 months to use no problem.

 

The original shared dctl file is from psdly.com, so it will be a good idea if we all request them to update the file.

Expired dctls can be used by rolling back the date on system level or use the utility RunAsDate. There's no such thing as expired dctls lol, it's a flaw in the dctl system.
