    Light Placement 101

Second to lighting ratios, this is a concept I believe is very important. Where you place your light determines how the look will turn out. In this video I go over the basic lighting points and how to know how many lights you really need to execute an image.
    Setting Ambient Light Exposures

If I were to make one video that taught you all you would need to know as a basis to create any type of lighting look you want successfully, this would be the one. Setting ambient exposures and dialing in lighting ratios properly is key to executing any style you want with lighting.
    One Light Setups

In this video, I demonstrate two 1 light setups with one of my favorite subjects: Coffee. A bit more unscripted and you get to see how I handle mishaps during a shoot.
    Two Light Setups

In this video, I demonstrate how I used two light setups to photograph two bowls of cereal (cause cereal always looks good) as well as a glass of orange juice. What a perfect combination.
    Three Light Setups

In this video, I show how I use three lights to photograph a bottle of green tea as well as guess what?……CEREAL once again. All jokes aside, I do hope that regardless of the subject you are able to take away the lessons I share on lighting.
    A Four Light Setup

In this video, I make the craziest looking PB&J I’ve ever made and I photograph it using 4 lights. Hope you find this useful and inspiring to try something weird/crazy/over-the-top for your next shoot.
