Yeah, I agree, it’s not that faithful to what I feel K64 should be. But as you said, this is a níce look.

Faithfulness to the original stock is tricky, isn’t it? LUTs are just interpretations of film stocks. And to complicate things further those stocks don’t render consistently depending on whether they were expired or not, pushed or not, paper used, chemicals used, temperature of the chemicals, time, etc.

Personally I prefer AndP’s interpretations of Kodachrome to Cinecolor’s.
Similarly, I prefer Cinecolor’s Technicolor to Analogica Labs version.
It’s a veritable candy shop out there and we can pick what we like

We seem to agree on a lot of preferences.

I recommend you try digistock for Kodachrome. One of the best.

 

Great recommendation. Unfortunately I don't use presets, just LUTs as they fit my use cases best, so I'll have to give these a pass. But you are right, the samples may be the best I have seen so far. Thank you
