Flaw? I thought it was done on purpose by FIlmverse? They even say it in the notes when you purchase them. Seems to be done on purpose not a flaw..?

The lastest version of the DCTLs that doesn't expire. Is that available, could anyone share?

Links in the OP are working. To my knowledge ALL of them expire. Even version 1.2.

h1ghm1nd was able to provide version 2.1 (the one labeled PRO) which didn't expire... yet.

No idea. Perhaps the creator's website explains it or someone who purchased it will know from an update or something. My understanding was that Filmverse Pro 3.0 (now called Arsenal) moved to a subscription model and pissed a bunch of people off and that the pre-3.0 versions are perpetual licenses (but still periodically expire), but I could be wrong. Someone who purchased would have to provide more clarity. I just know that every version we've had here so far expires and that's why @h1ghm1nd provided an updated version from the group buy with the clock "reset" so to speak. But as I understand it, this will be a never ending problem with this product. At least for those who haven't purchased it lol

Edit to add, it looks like the expiring .dctle was never really advertised up front, but added to the website and EULA. See @Snook 's comment from earlier: https://p-v.club/threads/colorist-foundry-filmverse.51406/page-6#post-334399

This is a bit odd no? From my understanding the Filmverse Arsenal is (now) perpetual but before it wasn't so it was like a '12 month' subcription or refresher system. Does this mean that whoever has the Filmverse purchase has to reupload a new version that's perpetual and doesn't need the 'reset' or... is FILMVERSE saying people that bought before the new Perpetual Licensing will have to purchase it again if they haven't downloaded the new 'Perpetual License Update'?

I'm asking because, even the Filmverse Arsenal doc link on the site doesn't even work XD

I have every Filmverse DCTL and Arsenal. All expire and you have to u[date. I have Arsenal and after 9-12 months the "perpetual" license expires bc it makes contact with them and you have to update it. They do this to avoid fraud, Pirating or whatever. There DCTL's are DCTL "E"'s which can be encoded to expire period.

I see, thanks for the clarification. I'll have to get my hands on the latest dctls and see what I can dig up from it.
