I this thread https://p-v.club/threads/lindsay-adler-full-figured-and-fabulous-posing-guide.62880/#post-352722 I've added link to requested stuff source in CODE block. Reasons are 2:

1 This looks better in post.
    2. It do not send referer field in HTTP requests.

This is obvious and shouldn't surprise anyone in warez.

    And then got this message:

    Warning for FemaleForm
Content: Post in thread 'Lindsay Adler: Full-Figured and Fabulous Posing Guide'
Given By: Moderation Staff, Today at 04:30
Details of Warning: Stop using the code block for links. It interferes with the site's anonymizer function.
    Warning Points: 1 (Expires 18 Aug 2026)

    Code:
    https://p-v.club/warnings/1110/
I am asking you to withdraw this unfounded warning and award this penalty point to the moderator who did not even introduce himself.

I think I understand what you're indicating - but because the site already utilizes a routing anonymizer along the call path - there's no need to "code" the link - is there? For example - I just copy/paste [using the available rich text editor] without concern because this obfuscation function is already piggy-backed. Did you get repeat warnings prior to the dispensing of the actual (1) point?

Rules are Rules... But things are getting harsh here lately. Curios Dude has taken his new position quite seriously :D
    hahahahaha
PS. I have been restricted before for even less offenses.... And I have contributed a ton of things here.
At least he is cleaning up titles and posts. Bc the search function here was and is a nightmare..

Well then - I guess a fair and open post; not knowing who had issued the infraction point . . .

You've been warned for this repeatedly @FemaleForm - I'm tired of warning you. It doesn't matter if you think it "looks better" - you're interfering with the ability of other members to simply click links, plus you cause them to have to navigate directly to a site instead of having their traffic passed through the anonymizer. I started gently by commenting on your posts. You ignored me and continued wasting our time having to fix it on post after post. So now I've issued a formal warning to document it in the moderator view. The point will auto expire in a month.

Maybe I missed something, but don't remember any feedback from you  But tf that was really the case, I apologize.

Links were invented to link to resources without any strange mechanisms. The publisher's website sees the specified referrer in the header thanks to the "anonymization mechanism" and thus can immediately suspect piracy, rather than a simple visit to the site, because regular websites don't use it.

A regular link simply requires double-clicking to open the page. Every browser allows it, and it doesn't bother anyone, as you might think. And it is precisely this kind of thinking that creates a real security threat.
