I'm currently editing a lot of behind the scenes photos from shoots and I find Lightroom to slow down a bit in Windows and Mac. And I'm looking at finally leaving the Adobe ecosystem. What are you guys using for editing batches of photos? Currently looking at Darktable but I still need to learn it because the UI seems a bit different than other photo editing apps
Capture One, DxO Photolab, Luminar are good alternatives, they each have their pros and cons, it depends on your workflow I tried them all but always end up going back to Lightroom+Camera Raw/Photoshop (but maybe I've spent too much time within Adobe's ecosystem tho')
Yeah I'm so used to the Adobe workflow but I've since moved to Davinci Resolve and Affinity. I'm still holding on to After Effects though until I find a good replacement. I realized I don't want to rent Lightroom and be stuck for a year paying for it, so I'm looking at alternatives. Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks, looks like they have a monthly subscription that's not too expensive. I've tried it before as a trial and I liked it, just didnt go through with subscribing
