Coronavirus......what impact will it have on Photographers/Videographers?

As a freelancer, I'm getting lesser projects than before now. Hopefully they find the cure for the virus soon...

 

They reckon it will be up to a year before they find a vaccine.....what part of the world are you in?

 

Coronavirus is very dangerous, it really affects my work. I hate it !

 

You are a young person....even if you did get it,you really should be fine.

 

How does it affect your work....are you a photographer?

 

I am in the UK and its only really beginning to have an influence on peoples lives.

 

I'm in a wedding industry, this coronavirus affect wedding industry quite a lot.
My couples started to worry and plan to cancel or postpone wedding.
My Prewedding season also at risk as many flight start to cancel.
I'm not sure how it might goes.

Yeah, I saw the news that it might last till end of 2020. So now, since I'm getting lesser projects, I might as well watch some workshops and improve myself. Are you also affected by the virus?

 

China is to blame for this, their wet animal trade markets causes such virus to spread to humans. Their government really needs to shut it down, else such illnesses/viruses are inevitable. This is not the first, and won't be the last one until China does something about the issue.

This virus is targeting the old population which many country struggle to take care of their healthcare, nursing and pension. Many questions come to mind...
btw World Health Organization expects that 60% of the world population will be effected from the virus.
Best way is to have a strong immune-system, try to stay away from stress and worry. Reduce smoking & drinking. Don't order food and avoid eating out. Prefer vegetables. Only breath from nose. Never mouthbreath. God bless.

I do believe that any use of bat meat in our food chain needs to be banned globally.

 

That but such diseases can come from another animals too, containing and killing animals in the same location must be strictly forbidden, china closed one eye to this issue as this particular market is catered for the rich population in china. They must be accountable for this, as the whole world is suffering due their poor supervision. Scientists in China has warned and predicted such outbreaks can occur as long as these animal markets exist.

 

Yeah but its not just solely China ....there was Mad Cows Disease in the UK a few years back.....eating infected deer in North America/Canada/Norway and Korea can also cause Chronic Wasting Disease....Camels can also spread Prion disease.

I live in Codogno italy ... many of my friend have Covid-19 and my photo studio is in Codogno too and probably it will Closed After this... totally a disaster seems to live in apocalypse.
