True. This is how this site makes money soo, paywalling content from the web. At least it gets out there either way, but I think it's a bit odd to be riled that content posted here is available elsewhere when in many cases it came from elsewhere in the first place.
I have posted unique content here that is available NO where else. When it appears elsewhere it is easy to know the source. A shame too, i've so much more, but it will stay on my drives.
I know that feeling, i am also member of another group on the www, we have a solid structure. We only have 100%trust worth members. We have a system that leaked files can be traced and identyfied at user level.
I posted Mastin Adventure and within 3hrs it was posted for sale on vk.com. Depending on when it was posted local time (2.04pm local time which is now classed as 'yesterday' so it's someone at least 2hrs ahead of England (gmt+1 currently) it can only be one of 10 people, and due to time constraints it's one of 5 people and someone speaking Russian in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine etc...actually it's almost certainly 1 of 2.
It's definitely a Russia leak as it's all in Russian and posts to yandex disk, Russian name, links to Russian photographer with a studio, vk user only responds when it's russia non-sleep hours when I've messaged to figure it out.
I would imagine it would be tough to find the person/group of peeps - but nevertheless, thank you for the Mastin post you mentioned - I just downloaded it . . . from here, of course . . .

I was suspicious of her before too. I don't think I was the only one. But it's just a matter of time before she is back, she may already have 2nd/3rd accounts on here ...
Yes. There is a possibility of more than one account. May be these kind of people are more of a money earner than knowledge seeker. Hopefully we don't have more of them to degrade the quality of this community.
Can an ip range be blocked? Or some time limit between creating a new account and being able to download content, say a number of posts or perhaps 3 day wait?
I'm not sure if you can get temp sms numbers easily for sms verification but one way to make it a pain would be through sms verification on registration making Dmitry need number after number. Assuming he's reading this (Hi!) something needs to be done to put the pathetic guy out. His TAP pack is apparently fake at least, but his poor buyers don't know that. I have an idea if he keeps doing this but he would be potentially out of his actual business which would be a little unfair to him...
In private trackers its common to not let people use VPN, proxies or whatever way to hide the user IP, so you can prevent leakers to come back

Although this is a good way to keep out leakers it is also a way to keep out legit users that want to use VPN to hide their IP when accessing the forum.
It is, but it also has the same problem. Legit members that do not want to expose their phone number.
