Hey my friends, how are you all doing? I'm not going to lie, this virus scares me! I have family members who have severe respiratory, and immune deficiency problems, and this virus is a death sentence for them! I've been the one to do all the shopping and errand runs for both my family and some elderly neighbors, so I'm right out there in this! The empty shelves, going to 4 different stores just to find enough food, seeing parents cry while walking around the store TRYING to find food, and essentials, worried sick that my immune-compromised family members might have respiratory difficulties, and have to take a trip to the ER! My daughter and I are both medical caregivers, and that alone scares me! We CAN'T stay home, we have people who depend on us!

I'm sure like all of us in this forum, my photography business is closed for the time being. I have friends who rely on their business to feed their families and pay their bills, and it's so sad to see them suffering financially. I too am struggling financially, but at least my photography business isn't my only source of income, so my bills are still being paid...just a little late at times.

How are you all doing...how are your families doing? Please feel free to cry or rant here, but also keep in mind that anybody can read these messages, so try not to give personal info that could give your true identity away <3

I feel your struggles. Hoping and wishing the best for those suffering at the moment. However stay strong and soon this too shall pass. Just saw a documentary about how someone sneezing micro molecules can linger in one spot for upto 20 minutes, technicially would make it airborne. So wear your mask to avoid breathing in.

My state currently has has a 9-6am curfew. Live on a lake so i can still get out and do some macro but im also a gym rat and its driving me nuts. Stay safe out there Nana. All the best...

Hi @NanaNikon , hello there. Thank you so much for this thread gesture. Wishing you all of the best and to your daughter too, since both of you are a frontliner taking care of people. And also, a lot of love coming from this group, because you need it and we know what you're dealing with, and a lot of extra care and keep safe. For me, guys! This Covid Virus is really testing us, throughout our humanity and our mankind. Anything big and small has a weakness, this Virus it's weakness is on fear, sadness, hatred, anger, and rage. It will be best to fill your home with a lot love, happiness, and faith this is our only shield to fight this virus. Besides from each of the local government from our country announcing to stay at home and social distancing. Like @Daukness , just be strong guys. I am all with you, with my prayers. Again, to all keep safe. We'll Get Thru This.

Sadly, a lot of what is spreading is ignorance. I recommend reading up on local community/city/state infections, advances in treatments and continue to watch daily. They say the common flu kills more people, if so why so much fear amongst us and spreading through media to promote panic and hysteria? Medical professionals infected and dying. That's a real thing. It's more than the common flu. Educate yourselves people, stay alert, be cautious, stay alive.

Oh I couldn't agree with you more @Daukness ! We've definitely been staying properly informed...sooo much false info out there!
Yep, I LOVE going to the gym as well, but luckily, I have an elliptical, stair climber, weights, and a yoga ball and mat, so I've been able to work out still, while staying safe at home ;-)

Oh speaking of sneezing! When this first started, my husband and I were at the store, and this VERY sick lady walked up behind me, wrapped in a blanket (probably cold from having a fever!), and sneezed on the back of me! I literally felt her spit hit me!! I held my breath, grabbed my husband and ran out of the store! That was 3 weeks ago today, so I'm sure I'm fine, but still...who does that? If you're sick, stay home!!! UGH!!

Yes, I'm in the US! The grocery supply seems to be getting a little better, but the essentials are still hard to find. Today, the agency that I work for supplied me with some homemade masks...yayyyy! Yep, us too...We've only been on lockdown from 5pm to 6am for a week or two now, but before that, we've only been leaving the house for work and to buy (or try to find lol) essentials <3 You're a good person to help your family! >3

I couldn't agree more @cassini !! We're all in this together! It doesn't matter where you're from, or who you are, we're all in this together, and we all need to practice safe distancing, kindness and humanity, and check on our neighbors and loved ones!

I am not trying to be political and I have no interest in American politics but most of this misinformation is unbelievably coming from your President.......I find that shocking!

I work in the auto industry and we're considered an 'essential service' in my country so I am currently working during these crazy times (unfortunately). It's been a tough ride for everyone, almost 60% of my workplace got layed-off.. I'm glad to still have an income but at the same time no. My biggest worry is having to contract the virus and infect the older folks at my place.. the guilt of that happening kills me the most.

I'm praying for everyone in this community! Ya'll be safe and healthy!!

Very sad, just informed my work group just lost a 20 year old to COVID. Unbelievable. Cant claim misinformation if its in your face. Age is not a factor. Exposure is. Maybe that's what he needs. SMH.

Did he have any underlying health conditions and did he smoke at all? The virus attacks the lungs, anyone with underlying health problems or poor functioning lungs are at a high risk category.

UGH, I have to agree with you @puppetwarp !!! You don't want to get me started on that subject lol, but yes, he's VERY opinionated, and often not at all correct on what comes out of his mouth!!

UGH, yes, that's tough! My daughter who is a hospice care worker has 3 children, one of which is only a year old! My other daughter has cystic fibrosis and COPD (never a smoker), and one of her children is severely disabled with respiratory issues as well. I'm 55, but in great health, so I'm not as worried for myself, but it terrifies me that I could bring this to my sick daughter and grandson...because I'm their caregiver and with them every day! I do the shopping since I'm the healthiest person, but I fear bringing home this virus to my family :'(

Yes, exactly! Even healthy, younger people are dying from this! It just depends on how badly it attacks you...the elderly are at a higher risk, but that doesn't mean the younger generation is 100% protected! I'm soooooo sorry to hear about the loss of your co-worker @Daukness :-(

I just saw this headline on local news (fair guess we live in the same zone). Eye opener for sure, damn. Stay safe brother!

Oh gosh thats super tough situation with your daughter having to work there and everything. I've had some really helpful folks on my neighborhood facebook group that are willing to pickup groceries for people, I'm sure there's some kind kids in your area that would do the same thing never hurts to ask. Take the risk of going out in public places and all.

On the lighter note theres even a group of dudes in kilts (yup kilts) in my area that picks up groceries for people.
