I agree with colorspace, it would make it more of a deterrent to joining or participating.
This is a great space to share right now. If you make it about money, you are defeating the purpose of what a sharing community should be. A tiered system to promote GM would create a more sharing atmosphere. It would also give people an idea of what is needed to be promoted to Gm.

 

Yes Having Currency system is a great idea ,which mutually benefit each other.
In this way to earn credits each one will be posting what all content they have and other will use their credits to download them.
In this way one directly looks for what exactly he needs and download them.
otherwise people will simply download freely and share where ever they want , if this happens there will be no value for the content.
WE buy or download and spend time uploading and posting in the site.
One has to be thankful by mutually benifiting each other.

Ps: it would be great if we are able to bring more people to our community and increase the daily traffic.

Hi Boss, i wanted to ask you, In case you decide to include the system, do you know when it will be operational? In addition to this, it would be feasible to take into account the likes, prior participation and reputation of the users to give them some initial credits to use in the initial phase of the system change?

 

I am super grateful that you started this website, as I believe we were all struggling to get stuff approved on CGPersia. Finally there is a website where people can easily share/download tutorials without all the BS. WHY RUIN IT? Making it fare sounds great, but I don't think it's worth if for the price of making it complicated. Also, I know that many people don't mind just sharing content. I like the idea of paying membership fee, if you really want some of the prime content. I've mentioned it before in comments, it would be great to have 1 month option, instead of subscription. I was a paid member in the beginning, but then I forgot about it and wasn't worth it. I would have paid for a few tutorials, if it wasn't for the subscription plan. I am also happy to help you cover your expenses and time invested in the site.

To sum it up: No BS Please, and month to month plan !!

 

you know its illegal what we are doing here ( copyright infringement ) ... but if we start to get paid ( with credits witch we have to earn ore pay for ) its a real crime ... you should think again ... is it worth to loos all your life settings and go to jail ? ... you are the creator of this page ... you should get some legal advice ... I understand that you want to make money from this , sell some apps.

 

i'm not sure that boss make money selling appz felix... what are u talking about? , he just buy with credits or donation other awesome tut for us, but if u want no pay for tut you just take appz and course that are not for Gold and it's totally free. maybe you make some confusion with the rules or new changes

The system is pretty easy , you can share your personal good stuff , take like , spent this like in others stuff that you desire. I never spent 1 euros since I was here in this wonderful place , but i’m Not feeling bad if I’ve to donate 10 Euro for work that admin mod and special staff make every day here

 

but, the most good stuff is already shared ... its not about the donation, its about safety ... if you donate you can be tracked, and everybody here knows its not legal what we are doing ... photographers know how copyright works ... yes, we could donate with bitcoins, but bitcoins are way to expensive and the transaction fee is way to high and it will grow ... its not easy to solve this problem ... we will see how this work out ... but im pretty sure nobody want to be tracked by the FBI and nobody will use his credit card or his PayPal to donate ... paysafecards could solve this problem ... paysavecards are save, you can't track them ... maybe thats the solution ... I don't know ... we will see.

 

Do we get credits if we contribute to group buys? It’ll be great if those contributing to some group buys would be awarded credits.
