It must be some update by Windows 10 that caused this event to occur. I would appreciate if anybody has a cure. I did google this and was presented with this ftp link to download the latest version. I spit the dummy as I'm unable to download. ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/10.x/
I think I found a solution. I will apply this after I uninstall/reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud I found this on the Net, which was not provided on our original post. Run Acrobat, accept Terms, go to EDIT > PREFERENCES > UPDATER > uncheck Automatically install updates
