Has anyone used any software to restore old scanned photos? I have recently tried to use GFPGAN and real-ESRGAN to repair some old images. I have gotten very good results with the facial reconstruction of GFPGAN but am not getting useable results for background images (buildings, trees and animals). Does anyone have any suggestions to try? I have a MAC Pro with an intel card. Thank you
I'm not a Mac person, but you might try Topaz Photo AI, and Photoshop's "Photo Restoration" under Neural Filters.
