PS. One of Shinoyama's most controversial, expensive and hard-to-find albums is "Santa Fe". The model was the then super popular Rie Miyazawa who was 18 when published and probably 17 when shot. I regret not buying it when it came out now, but I recall a distinct Lolita vibe in the line in front of the cash register that I did not want to be part of. My buddy who was shooting landscapes in New Mexico recalled visiting the shoot and commenting that it would be hard to take a bad photograph of Rie.
