I wish there was a way to flag a post to remind myself that I already have that tutorial. I know there is a watch/unwatch button, but that only helps me track the ones I don't have, not the ones I already have.
It's better to have it in the thread view, ie: where it says "Watch Thread", there should be another option called "Hide Thread".
Hiding the thread may be too drastic. I may want to still follow the thread after downloading the product because some threads get updated with additions, corrections, etc. Of course for those items that I have zero interest in, then a hide feature would be useful. But my priority is to see at a glance that I already have the product. Looking it up on my drive too see if I have it wastes too much time. And just because I liked a thread in the past doesn't mean I have the product because the thread might have been dead when I liked it.
I wish if there’s a bookmark function to mark threads which I wish to download. Because it becomes cumbersome to find tutorials while I m away..
Agree - This is a very good point. The addition of another radio button or check box can easily serve to personally manage one's account. Just like @Jupiter describes above in Post #3. EDIT: I think it should be VISIBLE globally as @Jupiter points out in Post #3 And the option to choose "Already Got It" button (or check-box) clicked from within the thread; maybe like @synapse recommends - maybe an option next to the "Unwatch Thread " indicator @george - is this a possible modification? _____________________ For those vacant posts that you like but require a mirror or repost - one can watch thread with option to be notified via email; just an fyi for anyone . . . This same process can serve your needs of "bookmarking" @umatpati Or - why not use the bookmark (or Pocket; or whatever function) based on the browser you're using. By "away" - I'm guessing you mean you're using a computer or phone other than the central one? In that case - perhaps syncing devices may be of benefit . . .
I use Chrome's bookmarks, I have a folder named P-v.club, inside there are more subfolders: -Downloaded -In Mega (didn't download, just copied the files to my account) -Dead and don't have it -Dead and have it (to make a mirror when I have a chance) -Didn't like it/download -Install instructions (solutions other members have for tricky software) -Want to download So every time I open a thread and the blue star is on, I know I was there before. You have to be careful and bookmark the original link to the thread and not the link to a comment, for example: https://p-v.club/threads/already-got-it-button.54897/ and not: https://p-v.club/threads/already-got-it-button.54897/#post-304093 So when you click the latter, you'll have to delete the "#post-304093" part if you want the blue star to light up.
