LUTs (Look-Up Tables) are tables that I developed of values that are used to modify the colors of a video or image.
LUTs are in .cube format so make sure that the software you use daily supports the .cube format

If you are new or a pioneer in film emulation these tips will be precious to you!

LUTs are a great practical and fast system especially light on your CPU / GPU to start with film emulation, you can use them in many softwares, also load it in some specific Cinema Cameras / Cameras you can apply them in your photographic and videographic productions but also in video games, graphics and in your drawings or paintings.

PowerGrades for DaVinci Resolve Studio
They are chains of serial nodes that allow you to modify according to a well-defined logic. They come with LUTs that allow you to maintain color harmony.

Capture One / Lightroom presets
Presets are both based on the same technique and are a really a great solution for photo editing, they work on the RED - GREEN - BLUE curves and allow you to maintain the harmony of the emulated film even by modifying the contrast, the saturation to your liking!

Each emulation is numbered and the delivery is a single preset, this is enough, it will be up to you to adjust the image to reach the sweet spot, that's where the magic begins.

ANALOGICAFILMe
It is the dynamic emulation that I developed that allows you to recreate the behavior of a film,

I developed it by observing the behavior of classic Italian and International films, especially the restored versions which I recommend analyzing to better understand how colors react when they hit the film.

ANALOGICAFILMe is designed exclusively for DaVinci Resolve Studio for the final "mastering" as it is really very heavy and you should completely forget the idea of viewing your film in real time, not even NASA's computer could do it.

As always I recommend using 720p timelines in the color and editing phase and switching to 1080p or 4k or higher resolutions only in the rendering phase.
