In today’s world everybody with a camera is a photographer, or is it? Just because you have access to your mobile camera & click pictures at the drop of a hat can you claim to be a photographer?

There is a difference between clicking a photograph and making a photograph. What most of us usually do with our mobile cameras or for that matter with DSLR's is clicking pictures just for the record because making pictures requires a lot of passion, enthusiasm, creativity, perseverance and patience.

As per the latest statistics more than 1.2 trillion pictures get clicked every year, most of them get uploaded on www; if you stack a print of each it would reach the moon & back 20 times. just imagine your picture somewhere in the stack. Painful isn’t it? So how do you differentiate your pictures from the billions of pictures that are flooding out feeds every day? definitely not my clicking photographers but by making the picture.

It took me 10 years to get to where I am in the field of photography. Do you think you can stand that long? Many of you would lose the steam and later get a feeling of drowning one more fad down the drain.

Therefore this course is an attempt to help wake that artist in you with the help of my long experience in the field of commercial photography and having taught 1000’s of students in the Art & Science of photography. I have been through the grind and I know the pitfalls therefore this course comes across as a lucid and natural way to learn photography. This is my attempt to reduce your learning curve by taking lessons from my mistakes.

In this course I will decipher all aspects about photography and prove that it is not rocket science. As the name suggests this course is divided into two parts: art & science of photography.

The science part talks about the technical aspects of photography, camera handling & operations like exposure triangle & how to use your camera in manual mode for greater control and creativity while the art part would train you on the rules of composition, framing and mistakes one should avoid. So by combining both the art and science of photography you can start making compelling images

Photography can be a creative hobby or a rewarding profession. If this book inspires even a few people reading it to take photography seriously, I would consider this book a big success

So let’s get clicking opps.. making
