Despite the oppressive standards of mainstream commercial modeling, and shock-factor news headlines of rogue model endangerments, she forges her own path by finding photographers on different social media platforms. Cameras go behind the scenes to see Kristy in action modeling for photographers: some creative, some seedy, and some...questionable? Concern from her parents and a raised brow of the public cause her to struggle, but do not ultimately hold her back from her dream to move to Southern California and try to make a name for herself. Can freelance models make a living? Or will they be mocked by society? This documentary explores dynamics in new age media that may challenge the myths of the old school elitist definition of a "model".
