Format: ISO file [406.55 MB] - unpack using .rar or similar. Contains the following from the readme.txt file - - - this is an older file but some may still find it of value - there are various other files enclosed. The D700 was one of the best cameras made at the time of release and some even seek out good (low shutter count) models to this day (2024).

Thank you for purchasing this eBook.

    1. To read the eBook, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available
as a free download from www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html
(go to that site, click on the link for the Acrobat Reader for your
platform, follow Adobe's installation instructions, and then go to Step 2).

    2. Once Acrobat Reader is installed on your system, start Acrobat Reader
and Open the D700GUIDE200.PDF file (found in the root directory of the CD).
Macintosh Users Note: The eBook was designed to use the full capabilities
of Acrobat Reader. If you open it with the OS-X application Preview, you
    won't get advanced features.

Other software is included on the CD:

    * In the ACTIONS folder you'll find three Photoshop Actions files that can be loaded into Photoshop. Many of these Actions are described in the Intro to Software PDF file.
    * In the MISCELLANY folder are a checklist, repair request, and focus chart file.
    * In the SETTINGS folder are files that have my suggested settings in them, as well as the UniWB file.
    * In the WORKFLOW MOVIES folder are three short videos that show the three basic types of workflow I outline in the Introduction to Nikon Software eBook.
    * In the WORKSHEETS folder you'll find Depth of Field (two versions), Flash, and Macro workbooks, which require that you have Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) on your system to use. Directions for their use appear on the first page of each workbook.
    * A PRINTING.PDF file that gives some advice on how to print the eBook on your printer.
    * A NIKONSOFT203.PDF file that is the Introduction to Nikon Software eBook.
    * An DSLRINTRO.PDF file that is the Introduction to DSLR file referred to by the main eBook.
