In Camera, Lens & Filter masterclass, DP Shane Hurlbut, ASC boils three decades of experience into one three-hour masterclass and reveals must-know details every cinematographer should know about cameras, lenses, and filters.

Join Shane as he dives into his setups for his feature film and commercial work and develops the look of the project. Shane explains the technology behind the RED Digital Cinema camera platform, and provides key insights into how he rolls out on set maximizing the camera system to its full potential.

Then, Shane demonstrates how he incorporates Tiffen filters and what he uses on his digital negative to make the most film-like quality image possible on a digital camera. Last but not least, he goes through some of his favorite lenses, specifically the Leitz Cinema Prime lenses, and discusses various uses of focal lengths to tell the story on screen.
