    This is interesting because one has never seen the stars like one can on a cruise at deep sea - zero light pollution. But to get the shot when the ship is moving - that's another question . . .

    Haha, absolutely. I've seen cruises specifically organized to see total solar eclipses for eclipses that could be seen only from the see but this kind of photography is less demanding in terms of long exposures.
