    Welcome to Cubby Image, a Photoshop UXP plugin that connects to third-party AI APIs to generate and edit images.

    Finally bring state-of-the-art AI image models like Google Nano Banana and Seedream 4.0 and more directly into Photoshop with Cubby Image. No more switching between tools, generate, edit, and upscale images right inside your workflow.

    What Cubby Image Can Do
    • Generate Images – Create high-quality images from scratch with the latest AI models.
    • Inpainting & Editing – Precisely edit or replace parts of your images with incredible accuracy.
    • Reference Images – Use selections, layers, or custom uploads as references for generation.
    • Upscaling – Enhance resolution and image quality without leaving Photoshop.

    API Keys and Authentication
    • You must supply your own API keys to use supported third-party services.

    If you can't install the plugin with the Adobe Creative Cloud app you can try to install it manually.
    Step 1: Locate and Unzip the .ccx file (or change the extension from .ccx to .zip and extract the files and folders.
    Step 2: Find Photoshop's Plugin Folder. Next, you need to move the extracted files to Photoshop's plugin directory.
    Step 3: Copy the Files.
    Step 4: Restart Photoshop.
    (To use this plugin you have to get an API key from Replicate. You'll also need to buy some credits. To start with I've purchased credits for $10 dollars.)

    I think it will work just fine. You can try to copy the extracted files and folders to this path:
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\Plugins\External\cubby-image_0.1.0

    The Gemini 2.5 Flash model support both Google Gemini API key and API key from Replicate. I've only tested this plugin with API key from Replicate but you can set the Gemini API key in the Settings tab.

    I'm sure of it. You just have to find the correct path to the external plugin folder and copy the files.
    I think you will find the plugin folder on a MAC under /Applications/Adobe Photoshop [Your Version]/Plug-ins

    You have to go to Replicate (https://replicate.com) and create an account.
    Under the Account settings you will find API tokens where you can create your own personal API key.
    Under Billing you'll have the option to buy credits. To start with I've personally added $10.00
    (One image creation with Gemini Flash 2.5 Image (nano banana) costs: $0.039 / Seedream 4 cost: $0.030)
