How it works. i just have to replace the original files in the application with these patches? Thanks for the help
I am so sorry to ask this as I should know being a member.... but I would need some help... so, I download the patch file, and within it I get two files: 'MacOS' and 'Resolve'. I worked out the steps are: 1) 'Resolve' should replace the original file in /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve 2) Question mark: What should I do with the file 'MacOS'? (there is no file named 'MacOS' to replace within /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/). Maybe I have to use it for a search/replace using an hex editor such as 010 but search what and replace with what in which file? 3) Then I should sign the new 'Resolve' file using: sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve Can anyone kindly help me with step 2) (assuming I got the other two steps right ). Detailed steps would be really appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for your help! PS: Running on an Intel Mac.
I didn't used the macOS file. i just replaced the resolve file in /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve. And codesign the resolve again its working for me. Using M1 Mac
Hey do you know if this currently still works? I have no idea how to codesign, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
