    Is this to download the full Davinci Resolve version? I have the free one and wanted to upgrde to full version to unlock some features..

    Download the studio version from the website. once downloaded do this in the terminal. it will unlock the studio version.

    Does this still apply for 18.5 update?

    Update: I tried with the 18.5 Public Beta and it doesn't work. It does work with 18.1.4 Build 9 (latest).

    Any updates @Snook?

    This method works with the latest Davinci Resolve 18.5b3 from the official website.

    First install, and then run Terminal and run:

    There is another thread for 18.5 final, but to tell you the truth, your machine is pretty "old" and most likely won't run Davinci that smoothly..
