I've tried to search the site for these answers, but came up empty, or perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place...

If a link in a thread is no longer active, how long till it is marked, dead? And, when is it moved to the trash?

If a thread is inactive and I have the same goods, when and how/where can I post it?

I'd also like to know what is a mirror, and how is it different from creating a new thread?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the post is dead then normally members/admins request them to re upload it.
If they can't/don't then an admin will request a mirror upload of the material from any member who has it.

Most of your questions are answered in the rules, #16 to be more specific: https://p-v.club/threads/the-rules.2/

As per the rules: you can post it anytime it has been marked 'Dead' in the same thread.

A mirror is a new post with a link in the thread that was marked 'dead', the reason for doing it this way is because that way the original poster does not loose the likes gained.

Thank you very much @Jack Smith. This helps me a lot! :) To whom should a dead link be reported to?

I would like to warn users that if they loose
Every post has a 'report' button (on the same level as the 'like' button), just click on it and state the reason for your report, for example: Dead link.
