Thanks very much for this. It works but for me I had to move two Lightroom plugin folders into a specific place for it to install correctly.

from 5 ver. and up, lightroom plugins need to installed manually to: C:\Users\name user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules

I actually meant from the main DxO installer, it got part way through installing and an error popped up saying something about it couldn’t find a certain folder to extract data from. I just found the folder manually and moved it where it was meant to be during the install and it worked.

Hey, how do I go about installing the application? My computer is flagging the software and I’m curious if you could explain what everyone is talking about. Thanks in advance.

Theres no virus problem with the software, antiviri usually flags software of this nature. My problem was the initial installation, it placed two plugin folders in the wrong destination on the drive so i had to manually move the two folders to where it stated it was looking for them on the error dialog that popped up during the installation. It works flawless after that was done.

Hi everyone, sorry to keep asking, but I’m still stuck. During installation, I’m getting an error that it cannot find/read this file:
    C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\Temp\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\DxOPureRAWv6.import.lrplugin\Info.lua
I was able to navigate to the destination folder:
    C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\Temp\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\DxOPureRAWv6.import.lrplugin
but the folder is empty, and Info.lua is not there. I’ve already tried restarting, reinstalling, and searching the usual Lightroom/DxO plug-in folders, but I still can’t find that specific Info.lua file. For anyone who has fixed this or has a working install: where exactly did you find the Info.lua file? Was it inside the DxO installation folder, the Lightroom Modules folder, or somewhere else? Also, is this file supposed to be created by the installer automatically, or can it be copied manually from another DxO folder? Any help would be appreciated. I’m trying to figure out whether this is a missing/corrupt installer file, a Windows Temp folder issue, or something blocking the .lua file from being created.

When I’m back on the p.c I’ll find the location the installer places them. This is the same issue I had. It does create the files but it places them in the wrong part of the folder during the install so it’s just a case of finding the files, copying them and putting them where it’s expecting to find them, then clicking in the error dialog ‘ try again.’ Since you’ve now placed the files where it expects them the installer continues with the process As normal.

Don’t stop or restart the installation as it’ll delete everything it’s created so far and you’ll just run into the problem again, just click inside the error dialog box try again once the files have been located, copied and replaced. I’ll be home soon to check.
