Hi I would like to buy a PC (preferably a custom built one) for video and photo editing, but mostly for photo editing for now. I will be using Lightroom and Photoshop. My question is, is the PC bellow good/suitable for the kind of work I am planning to be doing on (editing)?

    - i9 7980xe
    - 64 GB hyperX predator RAM 3000MHz
    - GPU - Asus ROG Strix 1070 8GB
    - Asus ROG Strix X299-E Gaming Motherboard
    - 1 TB Samsung m.2 SSD
    - 3 TB SATA Hard drive and 6 TB SATA Hard drive Corsair RM 1000x
    - power supply - 1000w
    - 4x Noctua redux case fans
    - Noctua tower cooler for CPU

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions

Except for the GPU that is a little old, everything else is very good.

Thanks for your quick response @h1ghm1nd What would you recommend instead of that GPU? something good, although I've heard that GPU is not that important in video/photo editing is that true

Yes, it is true. GPU helps the CPU.
It will be difficult to get a video card at a good price now, but I would try to get a 3080.

I would suggest to change the 2 HDDs for "normal" SSDs, or at least one of them, if your budget allows it (also supposing that you don't want to step those up to M.2 SSDs, a lot more expensive, and maybe not enough slots available). The HDDs are the slowest components of those and in general terms, so I cannot recommend them nowadays. For example, in my setup (5 years old core system) I have two M.2 SSD disks for data and scratch/temp files since few months ago, and I can say that the difference in performance is big, compared to my old 2-HDD RAID0 that I had. Ideally, the system disk should be another M.2 SSD. Other benefits for having no HDDs in your system: less power expense and less noise.
