Not entirely sure what the two different install methods mean. I'm guessing remote install means you get future updates and the other method does not. I was told $112 usd for Filmbox and Scatter. That was for the non remote desktop install (they give you a code).

Looks like this one has been a challenge to get, eh? Village Video's stuff has become very well regarded. Filmbox, Scatter, Lattice, and even Screen would all be great to have. Those prices are crazy, though!

Because will pay a high amount of tax and then be found out for tax evasion. Tax evasion is equivalent to having to bear two expenses and legal liability. Generally, no one will be willing. I checked some time ago.

Hey guys, about to buy fimbox and just wondering, I have the lite version and there is Only one type of film stock? Are there other film stocks in the Pro version? Seems pretty basic for such an expensive plugin. Apparently the lite version was all the same but for HD only? Am I missing something?
In the pro version there are other options for different types of film stocks? @artform

Yeah there are more filmstocks, 250d, 50d, 500T, 200T and you can adjust grain, halation, output color space and many more:cool:

Can some one please post what color management work flow they are using in Davinci to get the best results. Both in Davinci and in the drop down menu in FilmBox. I had it looking good but recently started a different color management workflow in Davinci and now it looks bad hahahaha And I cannot remember what color management I use. before...
    I would appreciate it.
I am referring to the Color management settings in the settings color management in preferences for DR and FilmBox?
The video you posted on YouTube @artform does not make it clear. I even ask the guy but he has not answered and will most likely not answer.
Thanks to any body who is getting good results...

Hi Snook, Hello. I captured the footage in LOG (shooting now with Leica SL2-s for now) and used Filmbox to convert it to a display gamma and bake in a look. Then I tweak that to my liking with other nodes etc. and mostly just made adjustments to the emulation from Filmbox :)

Color Space transform, Input color space I choose Arri Wide gammut 3, Input Gamma Arri Logc3, Output I set to ACES AP1, Output gamma to ACESsst. The I add a new node and bring the Filmbox, and the I chose the ACESctt. I get pretty nice results and from there I start tweaking my footage :)

Also it works well with my Kinefinity camera :) Also I love 16mm grain from Filmbox ;)
