2026 March Lens Guide 7ARTISANS 50MMF1.8 LITE

With the popularity of Fujifilm’s line of f/2 primes and the subsequent success of Viltrox’s line of Air lenses, it only seems fitting that we’ll start to see some other manufacturers bringing their own offerings to the table. The first of those seems to be 7Artisans with their LITE series. The initial offerings are a 25mm, 35mm and 50mm set, all with f/1.8 apertures, forming a classic trio that covers the basics. We’ll look at the longest of them here.

Viltrox TCL-X100VI
This is a lens for those who find the X100 series native 23mm focal length to be a little wide at times. Where the WCL widens the field of view, this TCL tightens it a little further to 33mm. This, when converted to the 35mm format, offers the equivalent field of view of a 50mm lens, the so-called “normal” focal length.
