    As someone that's been using FCPX since it's release, this tutorial is definitely using his workflow in premiere to teach FCPX. There's several methods in just the first few videos that I'd approach differently. But for someone transitioning to FCPX from Premiere, this is probably a decent option. One surprise was that he remapped his "J" to adjust clip speed. Most editors are always using J,K,L keys for playback control.

    I am a novice in FCPX and I use the J K L keys all the time for playback control.Its a weird one to remap.
