General Suggestions

I think that 90% of users didn't read the guidelines, and it should be sticky post on top each thread.
Second thought would be to make some rules of naming the thread, because I see often multiple same thread specialy @ request.
Let's say I think this example is good.

Sitename - Name of the course - Author​

EXAMPLE

• theportraitmasters.com - The Retouching Series - Pratik Naik
• rggedu.com - The Guide To Natural Light Portraiture & Retouching - Dani Diamond
• creativelive.com - The Art of Being a Second Shooter - Jasmine Star,JD DelaTorre

Of course without the color
(I used it just for visualization)
It's simple, it's easy, and when you need to find some course or some author or specific education platform (creativelive.com, rggedu.com, xyz...).

Hi! I would like to share another alternative tool on posting preview image. Beside imgur.com, you could use tinypic.com. Just get/copy the IMG Code and then place/paste it on your post right away. Even without pressing the Image button. Try it now, it will help you out in creating your post more quickly, helps you promote your Request, Tutorials, and Effects more reliable and increase your points on your likes.

 

@cassini I don't see the point. Why not use the forums internal upload for attatchments?

When you are in the process of posting a new thread you simply "Upload a File" with the blue button next to the green one that says "Creat Thread".

Maybe to aid in the sudden mega flags, new users should be required to share something within x days of being accepted. At least that will show they are here to share and will also weed out anyone joining just to take.

hello, what do you guys think about creating a section just for the programs like photoshop premiere etc?

Hey, I'm one of those 'new users' and I completely agree with this idea. I have been downloading and also have some stuff that I want to contribute with, however first I need to understand the whole upload thing.

Questions I have are, how to choose an upload site, I see Mega and Workupload are popular here. Do you have to revisit the site regularly to stop your offerings being killed off? Stuff like that, I've just never done it before sharing files.

I read the Posting Guidelines, thanks @george there seems to be loads of info about everything BUT understanding the
upload process.

Thanks to @h1ghm1nd for the 'how to upload to 1fichier' thread, I'll look into using 1fichier for starters. From you experienced uploaders, it would be really helpful to have some insights into the pros and cons of the upload sites (I appreciate these change), I'm sure you've learnt lots of good ideas and things to avoid, that would help us newbies get into @dinobytes suggestion.

Also reaching out to @anonzzz, can we please have a Thread devoted to Uploading Guidelines.
